About Karen Lillard

I started painting when I was almost fifty; about fifteen years ago. Never interested in straight lines and proceeding without a plan. Lots of abstract experimentation and so the art keeps evolving. The last five years I created with the intention for Healing, through visualization of art and promoting the therapeutic experience of creating. Paintings Immersed in Meditation, Meditative music and HZ frequencies, Intention is set, colors chosen and the painting emerges. Today, I begin on a new adventure into complete non objective work. Color is always the star and the painting always becomes what it is meant to become.
